J. Kenneth Randolph, President
Ken joined Rockydale in February 2009 as President and member of the Board of Directors. He has a BS and MBA in business, and has worked in the construction materials and industrial minerals industry since 1979. Some of Ken’s business affiliations include the Roanoke Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Board of Directors Chairman; Virginia Western Community College Foundation Board President; Friends of the Blue Ridge Parkway Board President; Ferrum College Business Advisory Board; Virginia Transportation and Construction Alliance Board of Directors; and Board Trustee of the Roanoke County School Foundation.
Joseph W. Altizer, II, CPA, Chief Financial Officer
Joey joined Rockydale in May 2008. He lives in Roanoke, holds a BA in business administration and has been a CPA since 1990. He gained extensive experience in the quarry and mining industry during his tenure in public accounting with Brown, Edwards, & Company, CPAs. Since 1995, he has served in senior management positions in manufacturing, non-profit and mining industries. Joey previously served on the New River Valley Emmaus Community Board of Directors. He currently serves on the Boards of the W.E. Skelton 4-H Educational Center, Roanoke Valley Young Life and Select Partners Group LTD. Professional affiliations include the AICPA, Virginia and West Virginia Society of CPAs and the Roanoke Chapter of CPAs.
Eddie Gupton, Director of Sales and Business Development
Eddie joined Rockydale in September of 2015. He is originally from North Carolina and attended North Carolina State University. Eddie has been in construction material sales since 2003 and has mainly focused on aggregate, asphalt and concrete. He relocated to Roanoke in 2018 after spending 8 years in the Charlottesville area. Eddie’s community and industry affiliations include Roanoke Regional Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, Roanoke County Schools Educational Foundation Board of Directors, Associated General Contractors of Virginia Board of Directors and Chapter Executive Committees, Virginia Transportation Construction Alliance where he served as Aggregates Marketing Committee Chair and member of Aggregate Producers Leadership Committee, Old Dominion Highway Contractors Association and Virginia Ready Mixed Concrete Association.
